More About Aegis of Corte Madera

Corte Madera, CA 94925

Áegis of Corte Madera is a gracious, beautifully designed retirement community offering a full range of assisted living services, and is owned and operated by AegisLiving. Located on Paradise Drive just off the 101, in Southern Marin, is easily accessible for visitors coming from anywhere in the area. Set in a residential neighborhood the community is next to an upscale grocer and plenty of other retail stores near by. During our visit, we witnessed quite a Christmas scene with a performance underway in the grand parlor. The fireplace was glowing; residents sat in comfortable chairs and were taking part in the carols. It was so cozy that it could have been a scene from the film “White Christmas”. The lobby is a grand central space with an elegant staircase rising form the center of the room. The living room off the lobby is warmed by abundant natural light that flows in. The courtyard gardens are beautiful and serene. A charming bistro open all day offers coffee and other refreshments seems to be a popular spot. Recreation areas include a spacious movie theatre complete with popcorn machine and comfortable theatre seating, a library, computer room and a private dining room
