At Altercare of Bucyrus, we pride ourselves on providing superior skilled nursing care in a home-like environment and outstanding results-oriented short-term rehabilitation care. Our therapy clinicians provide goal-focused physical, occupational and speech therapy to address a wide range of needs, including orthopedic, cardiovascular and stroke recovery.

We support privacy and independence for our long-term care residents with private skilled therapy rooms, private bathrooms, flat screen televisions, complimentary Wi-Fi, restaurant-style dining and individual heat and air controls. Families are welcome to gather for special occasions in our private family dining room at any time. Our active social calendar includes games, fitness activities, outings and special events, and residents can receive pedicures and hair services via our in-house beauty/barber shop. Weekly Bible studies, a chapel and center chaplain support the spiritual needs of our residents and families.

For patients with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, our secured Memory Care on our Speret Hall unit and specialized programming ensure residents are safe, secure and engage in stimulating activities.
