More About Briarwood Continuing Care Retirement Community

Worcester, MA 01606

Thanks to our residents, we often seem to be a Continuing Activities Community. We love it, and so will you. Whether planned or spur of the moment, most activities are typically resident-managed with the Briarwood staff helping as needed. The wood working shop, library, lounges, and craft rooms bustle with neighbors and friends eager to learn, eager to teach. On any given day in our retirement community you may see an artist creating a stained glass panel, a computer class, a resident-run talent show, a group departing on a trip to Newport. Others head to the fitness center where a professional trainer will assist in the development of a training program designed to complement our state of the art strength equipment. At day’s end, residents can meet in the Dining Room and choose from a menu that rivals the best restaurants around. Should you need more personal assistance at anytime, you can take advantage of Briarwood’s supportive living services. Rehabilitation and nursing services are provided at Knollwood Nursing Center where Briarwood residents have priority admission. Your neighbors and friends will still be here watching out for you and we’ll be here continuing our care.
