More About Casa Del Sol Residence

Los Angeles, CA 90066

The affiliated skilled nursing facility is located just around the corner on Washington Boulevard, whereas Casa del Sol and Casa del Mar, the assisted living components, are accessed on a quiet side street. Because some of the bungalows are in Los Angeles and others in Culver City, the assisted living has two business names, but both are—in principle—a singular entity. Walkways run past multiple garden areas and the eight pale-colored bungalows. Lush plantings create shaded areas perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Each bungalow has its own dining room in which residents are encouraged to eat together, or at one of the other bungalows. Food may be delivered if a resident is ill. Dining rooms have lovely wooden tables with padded chairs, creating a formal but comfortable environment. A charming chandelier hovers over each table. Artificial flowers and artwork brighten up the rooms. A dietician from the skilled nursing unit oversees the food preparation.
