Designed for residents 62 and older, Casa Salazar Senior Housing is a convenient and comfortable senior housing community located in the Glassell Park neighborhood in Northeast Los Angeles. Opened in June of 2017, the mixed-use building features spacious units, a fully furnished community room, a fitness room, three upper-level resident lounges programmed as a resident library, a media center, and a yoga studio. The ground floor contains approximately 8,000 square feet of retail space plus a covered outdoor dining area for residential and retail residents to enjoy. Parking is provided in both underground and surface parking facilities. Units feature granite countertops, Energy Star appliances, and 9' ceilings with large windows, among other desirable amenities. Casa Salazar Senior Housing is the ideal place to call home. Casa Salazar is also a registered Platinum LEED for Homes project. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is a building and operations rating system that provides a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable sustainable building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. LEED is administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit that works to promote buildings and communities that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.
