More About Clarkson Health Care

Rapid City, SD 57702

Located on the west side of Rapid City, Clarkson Health Care Facility offers another choice of service for residents of the community. Purchased by Westhills Village in 2000, Clarkson has been renovated and upgraded to the beautiful, well-equipped facility it is today. It is state-licensed and Medicare approved. Long and short term stays are provided in private accommodations.

The main focus at Clarkson Health Care Facility is rehabilitation. Thanks to our superb rehabilitation programs, a very high percentage of our residents return to independent living settings. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, outings, and events planned to meet each individual’s creative, spiritual, recreational, and social needs. A comfortable and nurturing environment welcomes all guests.

A professional nurse is on duty 24 hours a day and our Medical Director is directly involved in facility operations. A Social Services Coordinator, Activity Director, Director of Nursing, Therapist, and Dietary Aide meet regularly with each Resident and his or her family. This Plan of Care meeting ensures that the specific needs of all Residents are met as effectively as possible.
