More About Coleman House

Boston, MA 02135

Step into Coleman House, and you’ll instantly know this is not a typical affordable living community. At all 2Life Communities, we strive to create a vibrant, welcoming environment that inspires joy and embraces purpose for older adults age 62+ in Newton, Massachusetts. You’ll sense a comfortable bond between staff and residents. Genuine. Unconditional. And deeply rooted in respect and friendship. You’ll notice the unmistakable feeling of family, with people supporting and engaging one another, yet enjoying the freedom of independent living.

The community itself is undergoing exciting enhancements that will bring even more comfort and opportunity to residents. Over the next few years, all apartments are being reconfigured to meet 2Life’s most up-to-date design and accessibility standards, with updated fixtures and finishes. The building will also be made more energy-efficient and we will comply with Enterprise LEED Green Communities sustainability certification requirements. Coleman House community spaces will also be fully renovated in conjunction with building the new Opus community, and a connector that will house a restaurant, gathering spaces, classrooms and many other amenities for both Coleman House and Opus residents to enjoy.
