More About Eliza Bryant Village – Memory Care

Cleveland, OH 44103

Eliza Bryant Village offers comprehensive, high-quality, compassionate skilled nursing care. Here at The Village, our residents are the decision-makers regarding their day-to-day activities. Deciding when to eat, what activities they want to attend and when to go to bed. That’s person-centered care. This philosophy has helped Eliza Bryant become a model community across a continuum of care. Skilled nursing is the perfect solution for individuals who require professional 24-hour care, with physician oversight, who do not require hospitalization. As a small-care, 99-bed facility, we are able to offer individualized care like family. Our person-centered comprehensive care team includes physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, podiatrists, dentists, optometrists, audiologists, psychologists, social workers and registered dieticians. In addition, medical services include physical, occupational and speech therapy programs, mobile x-ray, lab services and pharmacy. Under the guidance of leading African American care expert Dr. Gregory Hall, our Skilled Nursing facility provides culturally competent care to our residents. We provide services in the areas of: geriatrics, skilled nursing, wound care, speech therapy, physical therapy, psychiatry, dietetics, podiatry, restorative care and social services. Occupational, nutrition counseling, diabetes management, post-surgical recovery, falls and risk management. Occupational Therapy helps patients maintain self-sufficiency by improving tasks such as bathing, dressing and wheelchair mobility, while Physical Therapy focuses on achieving the best physical function and mobility, providing strengthening programs and patient education to help with walking, balancing and sitting. Speech & Language Therapy improves residents’ communications skills, targeting chewing, eating and swallowing disorders.
