Built in 2021, Empress Senior Living is a new Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of North East Seattle. The architectural design pays homage to the classic neighborhood masonry commercial buildings common in Seattle neighborhoods with housing above the store. The goal was to achieve a familiar scale and character that would blend into the surrounding residential neighborhood by the careful selection of the building colors and materials. Locating the Bistro, Dining Room, and many of the active uses of the community at street level, Empress will make it's own contribution to the pedestrian realm in an already vibrant neighborhood shopping district.
