Offering a peaceful sanctuary in the popular neighborhood of Hilltop, First Colonial Inn is an independent and assisted living retirement community that has been serving seniors in the Virginia Beach area for more than 20 years. We are centrally located close to major hospitals, shopping centers, restaurants and the ocean. First Colonial Inn is proud to be a Kisco Senior Living community. Specializing in full-service senior living since 1990, Kisco is a company built on a foundation of integrity, dignity and compassion. With these values, we work to create environments that are inviting to our residents, their families and friends.

Residents of our community enjoy the convenience of apartment living with a selection of studio, one- and two-bedroom homes to choose from. All residences feature full kitchens, private bathrooms with step-in showers, in-suite climate controls, intercom systems and walk-in closets. Select apartments also feature private patios or balconies with a view. Our sprawling, six-acre community features a dramatic fountain, lush landscaping and stately, colonial-style architecture. Housed within our walls are our many delightful common areas including a full-service dining hall with a private dining area for special occasions, a library and community room, a beauty salon and a state-of-the-art fitness center staffed with a full-time exercise physiologist.
