Forest Park Village is a nonprofit, faith-based organization located in Wausau, Wisconsin, along the Wisconsin River. This community is a short drive from multiple restaurants, grocery stores and a hospital. Wausau has 37 city parks, many of which are close to Forest Park Village, providing active seniors with beautiful scenery and an incentive to explore the surrounding area.  Forest Park Village provides independent living in apartments designed for on-the-move seniors aged 62 or older. Independent Living Plus is also offered at this community for seniors who aren’t ready for a higher level of care but want assistance with household chores like laundry. On-site physical, occupational and speech therapy are offered multiple times a week on an as-needed basis. ….
