High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center is a premier Memory Care and Assisted Living community in Lincoln, Nebraska that serves Lincoln, Seward, Crete, Beatrice, Nebraska City, and the surrounding regions with compassionate and quality care. At High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center, our top priority is to create a warm, happy, and friendly atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

Whether your loved one requires some help with the activities of daily living (ADLs) or is living with the effects of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, our dedicated staff takes great pride in delivering high-quality care that is compassionate, safe, and resident-centered. Our services are designed to meet our residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We offer enriching activities, exciting social programs, wellness classes, restaurant-quality meals, and more.

The staff at High Plains includes a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, LPNs, RNs, CNAs, Medication Techs, and food handlers. Care plans are developed as a collaboration of nursing, physicians, and families. Care plans are a continuous work in progress that changes as the residents need changes. All staff communicate and work together to assess all resident needs and monitor interventions while adjusting when needed. Our medication management program is one that closely monitors new medications for effectiveness and side effects. We are committed to providing the highest level of care and go above and beyond to meet our residents’ needs.
