Since 1998, Lake Sherwood Village ~ A Retirement Community has been providing quality, affordable senior housing to active seniors from South Louisiana and other parts of the United States. Our compassionate and welcoming management staff has over 100 years of dedicated service to our Lake Sherwood Village residents and family members.

Our 120 unit community, overlooks calm and tranquil Lake Sherwood at the entrance of Lake Sherwood Acres subdivision. We offer studio, one bedroom and two bedroom private apartments. We are conveniently located for East Baton Rouge, Ascension and Livingston Parishes and are close to all three major hospitals.

We offer a variety of services and amenities. Most importantly, we offer worry-free living in a safe and secure environment. Though we are not an assisted living facility or nursing home, we recognize the need to provide the option for personalized healthcare assistance, to age in place, at Lake Sherwood Village. Services can be acquired through Audubon Healthcare Services (AHS), a non-affiliated agency located onsite, or any licensed agency of your choice. Our home is your HOME! The choice is yours.
