More About Ohio Valley Health Care
Ohio Valley Health Care opened its doors in 1951, originally as Ohio Valley Nursing Home, owned and operated by Michael Miller’s mother, Hellen M. Daniels. Michael took over operations upon her passing in 1975. Shortly thereafter, construction began on the current building we now call Ohio Valley Health Care, which he runs with his wife, Brenda Miller. Serving as a traditional nursing home for many years, in 2002 we began taking skilled rehab patients, adjusting our senior care services from intermediate care to a skilled nursing facility. Since then, we’ve developed a full in-house therapy staff to address occupational, physical, and speech therapy needs for our senior community.
