More About Pacifica Senior Living McMinnville

McMinnville, OR 97128

Our award-winning assisted living services are specifically tailored to fit each resident’s needs and wishes, whether they are related to healthcare or lifestyle preferences. Regardless of which program you choose for your loved ones, be it our specialized Legacies™ Memory Care or the all-inclusive Respite Care program, we welcome them as part of our Pacifica family. We offer our full support, attention, and encouragement not only for the residents but also for their families. While these may be challenging times and involve many tough decisions, we made it our goal to encourage a social & family-like environment, help as much as possible, and provide peace of mind for everyone involved. Before moving in, we conduct an initial health assessment and an interview with everyone involved to determine the appropriate level of care. Once that is finished, our Memory Care Director puts together a customized care plan which ensures our resident’s needs and desires are met. Our specialized memory care community is designed to be a family-like setting. The neighborhood is a picturesque, open-area featuring indoor and outdoor walking paths, and well-appointed studio apartments. The great room setting provides direct supervision while allowing residents to enjoy independence in choosing their activities. These include ice cream socials, brain games, bingo, religious activities, various clubs, as well as musical entertainment. All of them successfully engage cognitive, physical, and social functions, which is essential when it comes to ameliorating dementia or Alzheimer’s. Depending on the individual’s needs, we provide speech, occupational, and physical therapies, among others. Here at Pacifica Senior Living McMinnville, we understand that family is impacted just as profoundly as our residents during these difficult times. So, apart from offering quality services for the seniors, we also provide pet therapy and educational opportunities for their family members. We organize Family Support Meetings in which loved ones can learn more about how to overcome the challenges related to dementia. This not only offers peace of mind for everyone involved but also strengthens their relationships with one another. Our address is another great asset, as we are close to numerous off-site restaurants and plenty of attractions that make for great outings. For delicious comfort food, residents and their families can walk to Morning Thunder Café or Gem Creole Saloon. They can also enjoy quality-time together at Evergreen Aviation Museum, Joe Dancer Park, Yamhill Valley Heritage Center, and Bayou Golf Course. Plus, Linfield College and McMenamins Hotel Oregon are less than 2 miles away.
