The neighborhood is a picturesque, open-area featuring indoor and outdoor walking paths, and well-appointed studio apartments. The great room setting provides direct supervision while allowing residents to enjoy independence in choosing their activities. These include ice cream socials, brain games, bingo, religious activities, various clubs, as well as musical entertainment. All of them successfully engage cognitive, physical, and social functions, which is essential when it comes to ameliorating dementia or Alzheimer’s. Depending on the individual’s needs, we provide speech, occupational, and physical therapies, among others. Here at Pacifica Senior Living McMinnville, we understand that family is impacted just as profoundly as our residents during these difficult times. So, apart from offering quality services for the seniors, we also provide pet therapy and educational opportunities for their family members. We organize Family Support Meetings in which loved ones can learn more about how to overcome the challenges related to dementia.
