Southern Hospitality Home is a private, locally owned, licensed “Small Type B” assisted living residence, located in the renowned central Austin, TX neighborhood of Allandale. Established in December 1996, Southern Hospitality Home has quietly assisted senior residents whose families and friends have heard about our quality of care through word of mouth.

​Our smoke-free senior residence provides first-in-class care for up to fifteen elder and/or differently abled adults with memory loss, mild to moderate dementia, depression, heart and stroke-related limitations, Parkinson’s, and other illnesses. The tranquil tree-lined neighborhood provides our assisted living with an organic energy and calming atmosphere, which revitalizes the minds and souls of our beloved residents.
