The Abbey is a charming Independent Senior living community that was built around a historic church. They maintained much of the original woodwork and character of the church, which can be felt in the dining room with the high open beam ceiling. The Abbey is centrally located and has many wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops. It sits in a neighborhood surrounded by many beautiful historic homes and tree-lined streets, great for taking walks. There are 49 apartments with full kitchens, and several common areas throughout the building, which include a comfortable library, computer room, and lounge, as well as a community laundry room
