More About The Commons

Wilmington, NC 28403

As part of the Brightmore campus, The Commons is home to residents who need more moderate to substantial assistance with activities of daily living. In a comfortable, home-like setting, our clinical staff finds the ideal balance for each resident; providing them with the care they need while encouraging self-reliance where possible.

All in one convenient location, residents have ease of access to numerous amenities and services including a salon and barber shop, restaurant-style dining room, and several activity and game spaces. There’s a space for everyone and everything, enhancing the lifestyle of those who trust us with their care.

At The Commons, our whole-person wellness programming focuses on the physical, spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being of each resident we serve. These programs are designed specifically with the residents’ in mind, playing to the strengths of their remaining capabilities and fostering continued engagement in their daily lives.

Our goal is to make your days carefree and fulfilling, so we take care of the cooking, cleaning and maintenance for you. Being relieved of the burdens of keeping up a home and yard will leave you with the time and energy to pursue your current passions— and discover exciting new ones.
