More About The Village on Park

Nitro, WV 25143

Welcome to The Village on Park, a multi-use space owned by the Community Development Authority of the City of Madison (CDA), located at 2300 South Park Street in Madison, Wisconsin.

The CDA purchased the site in 2004 as part of a master plan to redevelop the property into an attractive, vibrant, multi-use space, to serve the immediate community. The Village on Park’s two-story atrium was redesigned in 2009, to include community rooms, office space, and restrooms. In 2009, the CDA sold off part of the site to the Urban League of Greater Madison and the Madison Public Library.

The Village on Park has about 120,000 rentable square feet on 7.8 acres. Tenants include retail, offices, and government services. The Village on Park has much frontage on South Park Street, the main gateway to south Madison, downtown Madison, the University of Wisconsin, and major health facilities in central Madison. The Village on Park is highly visible, near the Beltline Highway and Badger Road intersection. It has transformed the vitality of the Burr Oaks neighborhood.
