More About TLC Living Community

Machesney Park, IL 61115

TLC Living Community is a newly constructed, 92 apartment assisted living community, Phase 1 completed in March 2020. Located on six acres in Machesney Park, Illinois, it offers an ideal location close to retail, shopping, restaurants, and local services. We believe that you shouldn’t have to leave your community when you need extra care. At TLC, you’ll have your own private apartment, with the assistance you need, available as you need it. At TLC we take pride in providing not only a beautiful place for our residents to live, we take pride in our approach to care, and our excellent staff. Our vision and philosophy were built upon an aging-in-place concept and we are resident focused. We embrace a “hospitality meets senior living” approach to everything we do. Our commitment to our residents and their families is only surpassed by our desire to allow everyone in our care and under our roof to have extraordinary, healthy, and well-rounded lifestyle. We provide a 24/7 professional care team along with our state-of-art computerized resident care management software. This allows us to accurately, and in “real time,” document resident care, pass medications, interface seamlessly with outside doctors, nursing and pharmacies, respond and document nurse call, and provide transparent, top-notch care. Our kitchen and dietary staff utilize a dietician approved menu and cook everything from “scratch.” We offer 3 delicious meals a day with restaurant-style dining experience which allows residents and families to choose from our A La Cart menu as well as our two main daily Chef Special entrees. We also offer healthy snacks all day in our bistro. Activities and programs are provided by our own in-house licensed social worker. We offer our residents a wide variety of fun, social and learning opportunities in which to participate. Our new building was designed specifically to accommodate our senior population. We have wider hallways, 3 elevators, all ADA bathrooms, spacious apartments, a myriad of community spaces to encourage our residents to take advantage of social opportunities.
