More About Wake Robin

Shelburne, VT 05482

It’s an inclusive community designed to let you be yourself and live the life you choose.

Wake Robin embodies “resident-powered” community life. It’s led by an administration and staff that will honor your desire to organize and manage your life. In fact, that’s how Wake Robin got started – a group of local people decided to create a community where they would like to retire.

You can be as engaged in community life as you want to be, both within and outside Wake Robin. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved at Wake Robin…and beyond, and many ways to follow your own interests.

We are committed to responsible stewardship of resources, to the beauty and accessibility of our community and surroundings, and to nurturing the environment for a sustainable future.

everyone’s dignity. Whether you are living in an apartment or cottage, or are living in the Linden Health Center receiving nursing support, we hope you’ll take part in the life of the community.
