Crossroads of Pewaukee offers residents a rare dichotomy of solitude and connection. The senior care community is located on a secluded lot across from a business district of the city, yet most seniors of the 120-bed facility have no trouble staying busy and engaged thanks to its convenient location just off of I-94. Seniors with advanced care needs also have quick access to emergency medical care at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Crossroads of Pewaukee provides short and long-term skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services, as well as short-term respite care. It is staffed by certified nurses who are specifically trained in IV Therapy, and diabetic and wound care; on-site dialysis is available to seniors with advanced kidney disease. Short-term rehab residents have access to occupational and speech therapy as well as a gym and an art therapy room. ….
