More About Williston Woods Cooperative Housing Corporation

Williston, VT 05495

Williston Woods Cooperative Housing Corporation (WWCHC) is a 55+ resident-owned manufactured home community in Williston, Vermont. WWCHC has been touted as the model Co-op park in the state. Being a Cooperative, or co-op, means that every household owns a share in the community, and has a say in how it is run. Board members, all shareholders themselves, are elected by the residents each year. They are all volunteers who work tirelessly and selflessly to keep costs down for their fellow shareholders while tending to the business of operating and maintaining the Corporation. WWCHC contracts with Cathedral Square Corporation for property management, which includes a part-time staff person, financial management, and maintenance of common property.

Nestled among the woods off North Williston Road, WWCHC's six streets pave their way through the community, showcasing the 112 pristinely kept, and much sought-after homes. The beautiful Activity Center, which also houses the Co-op’s office, is open daily to the residents who are often found enjoying a game of pool or ping-pong, browsing the extensive collection of books, playing shuffleboard on the outdoor court, or simply gathering with neighbors for a friendly chat or game of cards.

The Co-op has an enthusiastic Activities Committee that meets monthly, and organizes such things as Bingo nights, Card-making, Corn Hole leagues, ice-cream socials, concerts, and home-cooked monthly dinners. New members are always welcome!

Please navigate through the headings at the top of this page to learn more about WWCHC and how to become a shareholder. Take a drive through the park, and you will see what a wonderful retirement community it is. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you as our neighbor!
