More About Woodlands at Austinwoods

Youngstown, OH 44515

In 1996, Kathy Prasad acquired Austinwoods Nursing Center, Inc. Shortly after, Austinwoods underwent a massive 5-million-dollar renovationplacing the facility among the most beautiful and inviting rehabilitation and nursing facilities in the Mahoning Valley. Austinwoods has been honored for multiple years to receive recognition as “Best Nursing Homes in Ohio” as published in the U.S. News and World Report.

Understanding the importance of privacy, Austinwoods built a brand-new rehabilitation center in 2019, offering spacious private suites for patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury and medical procedure after a hospital stay. The new rehabilitation center offers patients hotel-like amenities and is separated from the rest of the facility to focus on the unique needs of rehab patients.
