My husband and I were finishing lunch this afternoon, Wednesday 9/2/26 around 1:20pm, at The Golden Corral when the bus from Cardinal arrived and began preparing to unload the residents. Since we were seated at the window we found ourselves observing the staff and how they were with the residents; they were wonderful! Firstly, there were 5 staff members (I think I counted them all) and they took their time with each resident as he/she exit the bus. And, those in wheelchairs, also one with a walker, they showed extra care, time, and attention. It was very impressive. They seemed to all work well together also. We said those residents are in good hands, and how nice to bring them to enjoy an afternoon out for lunch. If this is an example of the care they receive at the facility, I wouldn’t hesitate to have a family member cared for there. Those staff members are all to be commended because they were just doing their jobs having no idea they were being closely observed. Kudos to Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation!!! ❤️😊
The genuine/authentic care that is demonstrated within this facility is a by product of the incredible leadership team at Cardinal Nursing and Rehab. The staff within this building are always so welcoming and engaging. They go out of their way to advocate for the appropriate next steps of each resident they care for. I couldn’t recommend this community enough.
