Lourdes Senior Community announced today that its Board of Directors has named current Chief Financial Officer, Richard Acho, as president and chief executive officer, effective October 10, 2022.
The announcement follows an extensive nationwide search conducted by Oak Brook, Illinois-based executive search firm WittKieffer.
Rich succeeds Sister Maureen Comer, OP, who earlier this year announced her plans to retire after an exceptional career serving the needs of seniors and vulnerable persons.

"Rich has made a significant impact on Lourdes since joining as the Chief Financial Officer in 2017. He is a well-rounded leader that brings a passion for serving the residents and their families in a faith-filled environment that respects the dignity of each individual. The Board and I look forward to working with Rich and the rest of the management team to chart Lourdes’ future for the next half-century."
