Assisted Living Apartments in Indianapolis
We proudly offer a multitude of options that will entice and reassure you and your loved ones as you take your next step in living life to its fullest. Our Assisted Living residents experience independence in their private, safe, and personalized apartments. Outside their door, they are met with friendly neighbors as well as many fun activities and events.
Along with Private Funds we proudly accept long-term care insurance and Veterans Aid and Attendance.
Short Term Lease
While it’s natural for caregivers to allow their own needs to get pushed aside, it’s important for them to realize that they deserve a break from their responsibilities in order to properly care for themselves.
This is where senior respite care can make a difference in a caregiver’s life. Respite stays are an option for those who need respite care services for elderly friends or family on a short-term basis. This allows home caregivers the ability to travel, start a new job, recuperate from an illness, or pursue other interests. Many find respite stays are the perfect option for recovery from surgery or hospitalization.
Should a short stay require extended care, we can accommodate that, too. We carefully examine the needs of our respite guests and provide the level of care required to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. Family members leave with the confidence that their loved one is safe and in good hands.
Services & Amenities Include:
Active, maintenance-free living with social events, meals, and housekeeping, no care services required.
Help with daily activities (bathing, medication, dressing) while preserving as much independence as possible.
Short-term stays, typically 1–4 weeks, for recovery or caregiver relief.

I moved here for 3 specific reasons - 1. had older service dog who needed to be on the first floor either easy access to outside. Cottages are on the ground floor with front and back door in each unit. I wanted to provide the best care until the end of her life. It worked very well. She passed the end of this April. 2. To down size my possessions and clear out a storage unit to prepare for retirement and getting older. Working well to have ground floor unit with car parked right outside the front door. Awesome for bringing in groceries and other possessions as well. 3. Close proximity to work. I work some really long hours. Close proximity to large variety of shopping opportunities and proximity to a major high quality hospital with lots of specialties and diagnostic imaging. The cottage home area is very cute. A self contained neighborhood with places to walk and meet people. Lots of curb appeal. Parking for vehicles close to the living space. The maintenance staff are very responsive to requests. The units are newly renovated and very beautiful. The staff in the admin area are kind and very responsive to requests. I love having my own washer and dryer. I have one thing that is causing a significant amount of distress. There is no insulation or sound dampening between the walls of the adjoining units. There is also no insulation between the front and back walls and the outside. I don't think the facility vets or monitors the residents well enough. A suggestion might be annual physicals for all residents. There are quite a few individuals who live in the garden homes who are not able to take care of themselves. Lastly, without insulation in the walls, the highway that wraps around the complex is very loud. Overall I have been happy here.
Rosegate is a very nice place. Great people. Friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.
